Kentucky Craft Beer Festival organizers today announced Liquor Barn is a gold level sponsor of the festival set for June 18 at the historic Brown-Pusey House in Elizabethtown.
“We’re excited to involve Liquor Barn in the inaugural festival,” said Kenny Rambo, co-founder of the Kentucky Craft Beer Festival. “As a retailer and as a recent addition to the Elizabethtown community, they are a welcome addition.”
Derrick Whitacre, general manager of Liquor Barn in Elizabethtown, said the sponsorship is an opportunity to support the community and to connect with craft beer enthusiasts throughout the region.
“It’s a win-win for us,” he said. “We want to help promote the booming craft beer industry, and it’s great that we can do that while helping to raise money for worthy causes in local communities.”
The festival is a fundraiser for Give 270, a non-profit established earlier this year to help fulfill unmet needs in Hardin, LaRue and Meade counties. The non-profit has partnered with United Way of Central Kentucky to identify those needs.
At the festival, attendees can sample craft beers from around the state and beyond including brews from Cincinnati-based Rhinegeist, the presenting brewery sponsor. Many of the craft beers featured at the festival are also available at Liquor Barn.
